ABNAL Nasal drops B.P. (Sodium Chloride)
ABNAL contains isotonic solution of sodium chloride and is used for the nasal congestion. It helps add moisture inside the nose to dissolve and soften thick or crusty mucus especially in babies and young children with stuffy noses who cannot blow their noses. Saline drops of the nose, is a popular treatment of sinonasal conditions, it helps to alleviate flu like symptoms by clearing excess mucus, reducing congestion and improving breathing. It is thought to improve mucociliary clearance by increasing the ciliary beat frequency thereby reducing symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections. By irrigation, saline drops may remove infectious material from the nose that would otherwise develop into severe infections and it helps to make it easier to remove mucus with nasal bulb syringe.
Indications: ABNAL is used for nasal congestion
Dosage: instill two to four drops in the nose whenever required or as directed by the doctor
Contraindications: ABNAL is contraindicated in those who have shown hypersensitivity to sodium chloride or to any of the ingredients used

ABNAL is safe to be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding

Side effects usually do not occur with use of this product. However, if the inside of your nose is very dry and irritated, stinging may occur. If this effect persists or worsens, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects
